PE Today - New student designed game

This was a cool game for PE today that was designed by two students in our class, Stevie and Tiaawai. I was impressed with their organisation and how quickly they were able to explain the instructions and get the game rolling.
It involved skill, fitness and communication and cooperation. I can't wait to we get to play this again and maybe we can modify some of the rules and equipment to change the skills needed too.

Have you played a game that looks similar to this?
If you could modify it, what would you change?

Have you done a Science Fair Project before? If yes, what was yours about?

Matariki Books

LI: to research and find out what each star of Matariki represents.

We were given the 9 names and then used some materials our teacher gave us. We then searched online for some extra information too. When we could show we had recorded enough information, we were given the concertina book template to add selected info to and colour and present.
When we were happy with our work, we followed a youtube link to learn how to cut and glue our concertina book together.

Do you think our books look cool?
Have you been learning about Matariki?
If so, what is something you have found out?
